Pilot

Hi everyone, this is Joe Green, founder of essembly. First of all, thanks to everyone who has been using the site and giving us lots of feedback. It has been invaluable in shaping what the site has become so far. We appreciate your bearing with us as some stuff does not work (though you will get to see one of the top error messages on the web, courtesy of Keith Rarick).

This blog, (which I admit is late in coming) is for us to keep all of you up to date on where we are headed, and for you to tell us what you think. To try to facilitate this conversation, we are asking people to use the discussions and internal resolves in the beta tester group to discuss issues in this blog and any other ideas. This blog will feature regular posts from me, other members of our team, and some fun guests.

    Dear Mr. Green,
I received an email from you, but I have no idea how you obtained my email address. Not that I mind too much because I’ve read everything above, and I agree with the concepts. However, let me write something to find out if I understand it. You’re suggesting that we find geographically and issue compatible people to organize politically. Is that correct? If so, I go to your links above and find like-minded people who live near me to meet and discuss political issues. Did I get it correctly?

    Thanks for your attention.

    Hi Dr. Flores,

You’re absolutely right, that is the premise of essembly.com. You received an email from Joe Green because you registered as a member of the site, and to do the aforementioned things (finding geographically close and ideologically similar people) just login to the site and select “Find People” under the “People” menu.

Thanks, and do email support@essembly.com if you have any further questions.

    Hey Joe,

How about you figure out a way to get my registration figured out. I can’t get back on the site after receiving an email from Eric that they would get my account squared away in 24 hours. That was three days ago. All I tried to do is change my email address since I switched providers. If you have this much trouble getting that kind of thing changed when someone changes their provider it does not say much for your tech help.

I enjoy the discussions I have with some of the members but it is very frustrating to have these kinds of issues and for me to have to keep following up.

This is the only way I could get a message across so I hope this gets to you.

    Melinda
